My experience with DP Contracting has been nothing but the best. They remodeled my bathroom last summer and my kitchen this summer. Dennis Pless came to my house and discussed the kitchen layout. He asked me what I wanted to accomplish and gave suggestions on how things should look. I was given the opportunity to work with a designer on the layout, type of cabinets, plumbing fixtures and lighting. Tina, the wonderful remodeling coordinator, worked out the schedule as to what would happen each day. They did want they said they would do each day. If I had a question, Chris, the project manager, was there to help. Dennis even suggested hanging my old cabinets in my garage. That has worked out wonderfully. Being without a kitchen for 4 weeks was rough but the end result was worth the inconvenience .

I would use DP Contracting again without question! They are wonderful!

Lori and I wanted to write to say thank you for completing our backyard makeover. As you know we had to end our relations hip with a different contractor after six weeks into the project they said would take one week. The frustration was unbearable since they did not communicate with us, did not show up to  perform the work and failed to deliver on promises. Also, they failed to return the unused portion of our deposit.

Once you and your crews began work, within eight working days the work was completed professionally, Your team arrived daily on time, worked diligently through the cold weather and at times, even in the rain. They pointed out what the other contractor was doing wrong and recommended ways to plan for further  project expansion in the future. The retaining wall gives us usable yard space, the patio with seating wall and fire pit have already given us hours of enjoyment and warmth on these cold   winter nights. We never used our backyard before and now we can’t wait to get home to relax in our outdoor resort–like space.

You are a true professional and we appreciated the honesty, courtesy, and attention to detail that you and your team demonstrated.  The pictures speak for themselves! We not only have a space in which to relax and spend time with family and friends, we have a space that has increased the value of our home tremendously! This was a great
experience with no money out of pocket up front!”

“We contacted DP Contracting to see about “bumping out” our kitchen eating area by four feet...Dennis came, as promised, on time and ready to do business. During the course of conversation, we asked about other contracting work he might do. Well, the Race was on! We discussed countertops, backsplash, new floor—-the project grew and grew. Dennis had lots of great ideas and great vision of what would work. Our FOUR FOOT bump out turned into that plus kitchen remodeling and a deck addition.

We picked a gauged slate floor from samples Dennis brought. It was a novel idea but looks GREAT! We had quartz countertops installed, the new floor, new backsplash, a new pantry (also suggested by Dennis and what a good idea! He’s been told that pantry was a home-run), under-cabinet lighting and beadboard accent in the new kitchen area. We also went ahead and redid our bathroom while we were at it. He’s great about bringing in or sending you to vendors who know their product and what will enhance your project and can suggest ideas you would never think of.

Jeff Overcash oversaw the project and is so very easy to work with but really gets the job done. He is very concerned about quality and making sure everything is complete and done to your and his satisfaction. There was never any question that the work being done would be top-notch. It was a pleasure dealing with Jeff on a daily basis. He’s knowledgeable on what needs to be done and how to get it done. We miss him now that the project is finished and hope to see him around the neighborhood!

This may not seem a like a big deal but it was noticed by us and other that, even with the construction going on, at the end of the day things were in their place. Trash in the dumpster, everything neatly stacked or whatever. The construction site was kept neat and tidy which is just another example of the attention to detail by DP Contracting. They do what they say they’re going to do.

We had such a great experience working with Dennis and Jeff. We would recommend using DP Contracting without any hesitation and will be contacting them for any future home project needs, large or small.”

We met Dennis Pless through a referral, and have been very pleased with the results. When we provided a photograph of what we had in mind, little did we envision the beautiful sunroom and patio area that we now have. Dennis’ expertise and guidance from the design phase through the actual construction was invaluable. He seemed to
intuitively understand what we wanted to accomplish.

At our initial meeting, Dennis promise that the job would be kept on schedule and that he would do whatever necessary to make sure we were satisfied customers. He kept both promises. At one point, he said “Don’t blink or you’ll miss something.” He lived up to that statement as well. Workers were arriving on site as we were leaving in the morning and were finishing up when we came home at the end of the day. Dennis’ project management skill kept the disruption to our daily lives at a minimum, which was quite an accomplishment considering the scope of the project. On top of doing the sunroom addition, he was also making extensive renovations to the interior and exterior of our existing home. His attention to detail and the ability to keep up with multiple tasks was amazing.

Dennis and everyone that worked on our home were a pleasure to work with and truly lived up to the statement that “satisfaction matters.” In addition to the added value and beauty of our home, we gained many friends through this project.  We would definitely recommend Dennis and DP contracting and Consulting to others.”
