DP CONTRACTING & CONSULTING RECEIVES EPA CERTIFICATION
DP Contracting & Consulting, Inc. received the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) designation as a Lead Safe Certified Firm. On April 22, 2010 federal law required contractors performing renovation, repair and paint projects that disturb more than six square feet of paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and trained to follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
If your home was built prior to 1978, it may contain high levels of lead. Lead from paint, chips and dust can pose serious health hazards, and is even more dangerous to children under the age of 6, if not taken care of properly. Protect your family and make sure you only hire a contractor who is a Lead-Safe Certified Firm.

recognized with Certified Green Professional Designation
"The National Association of Home Builders' Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. Class work leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry." Contractors who receive this designation complete the curriculum and other course requirements as well as agree to accept the responsibilities and obligations outlined in the Code of Ethics for Certified Green Professionals.
